Today was our first riding lesson at the RDA for this year. It was Hayden's and Kaden's first visit to the stables and they both did very well. We enjoyed our ride up into the woods, although we did get a bit soggy on the way back when it started pouring with rain!
![]() Our Key Stage 2 children have written acrostic poems this week on Remembrance Day. Once they had written down their own poem, we shared ideas to write a class poem, which reflected our thoughts about Remembrance Day. I think you will agree that their final version is very powerful and thought provoking! Please see ideas for completing a home learning project on the Great Fire of London. The project is due into school before the Christmas holidays.
Key Stage 2 topic this term is the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons. Please see the home learning project ideas below. Choose one and bring the completed project into school before the Christmas holiday.
Key Stage 1 children were very excited today, when the fire engine from Wilton Fire Brigade came into school, as part of their fire safety talk.
